Young people these days have a tighter schedule than us adults, with numerous tutorial sessions and countless extra curriculum activities to help prepare them for academic challenges. How about the obstacles they face in daily lives?
This is where LEAP comes in, where we provide health-based drug prevention education, and help students develop social competency skills. LEAP’s aim is to empower young people to build a healthy, safe and positive life which is something I very much agree with, not only as a public health master’s graduate, but also as someone who grew up with LEAP’s primary and secondary programmes.
I was very fortunate to have experienced LEAP’s programmes while I grew up, equipping me to become a healthy and contributing adult who is now very honored to become a part of the LEAP team, reaching out to empower more students here in Hong Kong.
