“LEAP into Colour” Charity Run is a fun-filled event for families, kids, and serious runners. It aims to increase awareness of emotional health and well-being of children and youth in Hong Kong, and to raise funds to enable LEAP to develop and deliver its preventive emotional health programmes for this demographic.

Just like the vibrant colours of a festival, every emotion contributes to life’s completeness. Through this event, we aim to encourage everyone to embrace and celebrate their emotions, raise awareness about children’s and youth’s emotional health, and emphasize the importance of understanding and managing feelings.

Charity Run 

10KM / 3KM Challenge – Timed Race

1KM Harold Obstacale Run – Untimed – There will be checkpoints along the route, and participants will receive a Harold souvenir upon completing the tasks.

Fun Experiences

“Colours of Emotions” Dress Up Competition  – use paints, textiles, dolls, and any accessories to decorate the Runner T-shirt provided in your race pack.

LEAP Competition  – After finishing the Run or Walk, take a photo of All team members leaping hand in hand together as high as they can at the Carnival venue.  Individuals can also demonstrate excellent jumping ability.

CARNIVAL

LEAP’s mascot – Harold the Giraffe, serving as a friend to kids, will actively participate in the event by greeting participants, posing for photos and leading warm-up exercises, making it more engaging and enjoyable.

Harold Drawing Competition – This activity enables kids to explore different emotions using colours while simultaneously offering a relaxing, stress-relieving experience.
