LEAP Classrooms & Advanced Teaching Technologies

LEAP's Primary Programme is taken to schools in mobile classrooms, also known as Life Education Centres (LEC). The mobile classrooms can be towed all over Hong Kong to deliver LEAP's health-based preventive education programmes to primary students. LEAP now has a total of 9 mobile classrooms and a static centre, one mobile classroom is dedicated to the English Programme, seven to the Chinese Primary Programme, and one to the Special Needs Programme.  The Static Centre at Lai Yiu Estate, Kwai Chung enables schools that cannot accommodate a mobile classroom to participate in the LEAP Programmes away from their premises.

LEAP’s entire fleet is now fully equipped with the cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) and Kinect teaching technologies to provide an exceptional learning experience combining technology, fun and knowledge for students, including those with special needs. Its aim is to enhance students’ learning interest and to strengthen their understanding of the subject matter.

Each LEC is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including audiovisual aids, illuminated body systems, a "talking brain" and TAM (Transparent Anatomical Mannequin).

The Body System Modules illustrate the digestive system, the circulatory system and the nervous system in a dynamic way.
